Dear reader,
Happy summer, everyone! Hard to believe that less than a month from today, the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Summer Show will be in full swing. So you know what that means – sneak peeks! Well, not this newsletter as it's too soon, but you will get a good look at what's coming for summer in our next newsletter coming in about 2 weeks. It will be full of fun stuff! If you're attending the CHA-S show, come and see us at booth 205, we will have lots of make and takes as well.
This issue we are full of BIG NEWS!
What's New? Our first BIG NEWS is: MaryGrace Abuzman is taking over the editing of the newsletter as of July, and we know the newsletter took a bit of a hiatus, but I promise that from now on you should see a monthly FontWerks newsletter in your mailbox – well, monthly, usually around the 12th of each month.
Next BIG NEWS is we have added to our design team, and we are so happy to welcome Sara Winnick to the FontWerks team. We have featured Sara as a Friend of FontWerks in a previous newsletter and have followed her work for over a year and it was beyond time to add her to the team. So welcome, Sara, we are so glad to have you!
Thirdly, our BIG NEWS has to do with our summer release – we are adding another medium to our product line up – anyone have guesses as to what it might be? (We'll spill the secret in July's newsletter!)
SALE!!! Next up is that the Seconds are back in stock – several new ones added and I know there is a lot of you who have been waiting for this BIG NEWS – so check them out! Remember, they are only $12.50 for a full set!
Our last BIG NEWS is that all regular-priced red rubber sheet stamp sets are now on sale for 30% off until July 13! (Seconds are already 50% off so the discount does not apply to them).
Friend of Fontwerks This month's Friends of FontWerks are Ali Edwards, Jamie Lieu and Nora Griffin. All three have been so patient waiting for their work to come out in our newsletter and we thank them for it, and also for their creations! See their work here.
I'd also like to thank the The Velvet Cat in Singapore for hosting me and my family in April – we ran a full-day workshop while I was there and had a lot of fun! It was my first time seeing how scrappers outside of North America create, and I learnt a lot! So thank you Mel and Lina and the TVC girls, who made us feel so welcome. I also want to thank Made With Love and the owners Elvira and John, who hosted us for an evening and showed us their beautiful store, as well as plied us with good food from their café. Yes, you heard right, they have a café in their store. Heaven, I tell you. So thank you again, to both stores, and I can't wait to come back again soon!
It's back to preparations for CHA-S for me, hope to see you soon in Chicago! Here's to sunshine and summer happiness all around!
