Dear reader, It’s snowing as I write this, and my heart is warmed by the peaceful falling of the white stuff. This time of year is traditionally busy and it’s good to have some time to reflect and be thankful. With the thanksgiving season just past, and a joyous season approaching, I personally will be taking extra time to enjoy family and all that they are. I am also thankful and amazed at the therapeutic power of scrapbooking and rubberstamping. Art, and creating it. » Check out this layout for the full story
At FontWerks we have lots on the go. CHA Winter is just around the corner, at the end of January. Back to Vegas we go, this time with the full FontWerks team in tow! We will also be having another Friends of FontWerks Wall at the show, and we are finalizing the participants for that. As for the Memory Trends FOF Wall, Holly Biel of Nebraska won the Ebay Auction with her bid of $285. And as promised, FontWerks matched that amount and a total amount of $570 was donated to Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. Thank you to everyone who participated and bidded – and thank you Holly! I am sure Holly will have big plans for the Wall, check it out at her store Creative Elements. Speaking of CHA, you won’t want to miss what we have coming out – we will give you a sneak peek in January’s newsletter! So excited to be working with the new stuff and designers.
This month our Friends of FontWerks are Candi Leonard and Genevieve Simmonds. I love their styles, different as they are, and I think they did a terrific job showcasing our projects. They are so inspiring! » Visit this month’s FOF gallery Our design team created a few Christmas cards and layouts of our own. » Visit the Fontwerks Desgin Team gallery
I’ve said it before, one of my favourite stores is Treasury of Memories in Bellingham, Washington. A pure fun store. So full of inspiration, products and fabulous staff. You will see what I mean when you check out their photos. If you’re in the area, make sure to drop in and visit Elizabeth, Carly and the staff at T.O.M! Another store that blew me away this month is Pick of the Patch. They are a Canadian-based store who have two of the nicest and friendliest owners. They used our Paris papers and the Squared Away stamps in their kit this month and I decided to take a peek at what their team came up with, using our products. As I told the owner, Tara, my jaw dropped. You need to take a look at their work – thank you Pick Of The Patch, for sharing your work! Well, the snow is still falling and it’s time to go wrap more presents, so I’ll take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Kah-Mei and the team at fontwerks

Everything, except seconds, is 25% off from now until January 5, 2006, and every order will receive a special gift from FontWerks. This is FontWerks’ gift to all our friends and supporters!
